Are you a current or intending OBU training team player wanting to find work in the near future and looking for some help? Whether thinking about work after study or just looking for help to compete for that ‘right’ job – put your hand up now and avoid missing out.
OBU is partnering with Shamrock Recruitment Group (www.srg.co.nz) to offer selected players a unique programme to help them stand out during the job hunting process. Brad ‘Patches’ Houlahan, OBU Premier Team Assistant Manager, is putting his HR studies to good use by project managing this partnership between OBU and Shamrock Recruitment.
‘For some time we’ve relied on the good will of OBU volunteers, people with solid HR and business backgrounds and connections, who have scrambled to meet players requests for help in finding jobs. Those efforts will continue to be important but this initiative puts us on another level - we’re delighted with the innovative course our project team has been able to put together with Shamrock. Shamrock is community focused, and rugby mad as well, which makes them an ideal relationship partner for OBU’.
The first course will run for six weeks from Monday 28 January 2013.
